![]() and today the graphics are all blurry and fuzzy. But this time I couldn't get it to fix so I just quit the game. But usually it all resets back to normal after another alt-tab. Yes that is what happens to me regularly when I alt/tab out of game. don't really see anything in the screenshot. Have you checked the game setting on the splash screen on startup? Maybe try changing the graphical settings once and changing it back to what it should be for your monitor. But after I restarted the game (quit to desktop and restarted) It solved everything. The whole right side of my screen went black at the main menu. Odd, I had this exact issue.even my crosshair wasn't in the right place I could put a target in my crosshairs and it would miss far to the side. TAA is on and not FSAA so its not that.Įdited by Trueblue1878, 24 November 2015 - 07:29 pm. especially noticeable when looking into the distance, it looks like heat blur kinda. But there just seems to be a fuzz around the HUD and dialogue text, and everything. I have linked a screenshot, but I don't know if anyone can see the difference from it. All the crispness has gone, but everything is set to Ultra as usual. It is like console graphics on a old TV kinda. I have gone into the launcher and set everything to Ultra again. today I got home from work and played and the resolution is back at 1080p BUT the graphics quality is still fuzzy, as if its at a non-native resolution to my monitor. This has happened a lot of times but usually alt-tabbing out and back in again fixes it. upon going back into game the resolution had set itself to 720p. If your computer is stuck at 0 Watts, you need to reboot before testing a different game. If it is still set to 8000 then any other game you try to run is also going to be limited to the base frequency. exit the game and check to see if this register has been reset. if you have a game that has this throttling problem, start the game, ALT+TAB out to your desktop, run CPU-Z and look at the turbo power limits register to see if either of the power limits have been set to 8000 (0 Watts). You should never see 8000 on either side of this register. If you see the 8000 value displayed for either power limit then the BIOS is not setting your CPU up correctly. after booting up and before running anything, run CPU-Z, create a report and check this register. The 8 means that this power limit is enabled and the 000 means the turbo power limit register is set to 0 Watts. If you see the value 8000 at these two locations within that register, that is the problem. Ok I checked and my GPU clocks don't change when I come Back to the game after Alt-Tabbing ![]() I'll also check to see if the clocks get reduced when I tab back in and report it here too. I'll look into the game priority in task manager and report back. (I do have gsync enabled for both windowed and fullscreen mode) I guess gsync works better with fullscreen. I do have slightly less performance overall than fullscreen. I can alt-tab with no loss of performance when I tab back into the game. **UPDATE** I went ahead and selected fullscreen borderless window mode for both call of duty modern warfare and black ops cold war and it seems to have fixed my problem (mostly). Only a few titles, especially Black ops Cold war and Modern warfare I just played Borderlands 3, and B元 doesn't suffer any performance hit when I alt-tab out and back in. I remember reading on the web that apprently it might have something to do with gsync, although I don't understand why The whole game feels very glitchy and hitches a lot when I come to back to it after alt tabbing out.
